Chicago Architecture Foundation’s 35th Annual Gala
3/13/10

The Chicago Architecture Foundation’s 35th Annual Gala was held on Saturday, March 13th at the Palmer House Hilton with a sell-out crowd. Proceeds from the annual gala benefit the Chicago Architecture Foundation and its youth education programs. Each year, these programs reach over 35,000 students. The Chicago Architecture Foundation recognizes that programming designed for young people can help foster their natural interest in design, building, and construction, preparing them for their eventual role in shaping their city’s future.

Spring Festival
3/13/10

A hip, hot, energy infused vibe pulsated through the Zhou B Center as the Chinese American Service League (CASL) launched its inaugural Spring Festival. Held on Saturday, March 13th, fashion, food, art and culture merged as honorary chairs, the internationally renowned artists, the Zhou Brothers and Co-Chairs, Margaret O’Connor and Michael Zhou, welcomed guests. The crowd of 250 people noshed on a sumptuous array of tasty morsels before making their way up to the second floor for the highly anticipated Akria fashion show. The Lau sisters performing a Chinese ribbon dance kicked off the fashion show. DJ’s spins kept guests rockin’ the dance floor until midnight.
